EACH CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

The following are NMAA sanctioned activities: Athletic Training Challenge, Bowling, BPA, Chess, Choir, Concert Band, DECA, Drama/One Act Play, Educators Rising, English Expo, Esports, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, JROTC, Marching Band, Mock Trial, Scholastic Publications, Science Fair, Science Olympiad, Skills USA, Speech and Debate, Student Council and TSA.
Candidate must be a graduating senior who actively participated in one or more of the activities listed above during his/her sophomore and junior years of high school, and a minimum of two his/her senior year.
Candidate’s high school transcript must be submitted.
Candidate’s ACT and/or SAT score(s) must be listed in the application.
Applicants must submit a one page personal statement addressing the question listed within the application.
A recent photograph or clear snapshot of the candidate must be submitted.
At least two letters of recommendation must be submitted. One must be from a candidate’s coach/sponsor, and one must from a candidate’s teacher or school personnel.
Candidate must graduate from high school during the year of application and begin college the following fall semester.

 

 

TIPS ON COMPLETING THE APPLICATION PACKET

1. Read the requirements listed above carefully.
2. Be sure to fill out the application form completely.
3. Applications must be submitted by February 1.
4. Submit all materials together to insure that all information is received.
5. Incomplete application packets will not be considered.
