El Richards/Frances Walsh Spirit Scholarship presented by Varsity Spirit

*EACH CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:*
•	Candidate must be a graduating senior who actively participated in a cheer or dance program at an NMAA member school for at least 3 years in grades 8-12.
•	Candidate must have a GPA of at least 3.0.
•	Candidate’s high school transcript must be submitted.
•	Candidate’s ACT and/or SAT score(s) must be listed on the application.
•	Applicants must submit a one page personal statement addressing the question listed within the application.
•	A recent photograph or clear snapshot of the candidate must be submitted.
•	At least two letters of recommendation must be submitted. One must be from a candidate’s coach/sponsor, and one must from a candidate’s teacher or school personnel.
•	Candidate must graduate from high school during the year of application and begin college the following fall semester.

1.	Read the requirements listed above carefully.
2.	Be sure to fill out the application form completely.
3.	Applications must be submitted by Feb 1.
4.	Submit all materials together to insure that all information is received.
5.	Incomplete application packets will not be considered.
